N.B. Since its initial production in 1955, it is approximated that only 2300 of this model were made in stainless steel. Collectors further theorize that only an approximate of 150 pieces were made in 14k or 18k yellow gold, till after six years of manufacture it was replaced by the 6238. This makes this watch an extremely rare timepiece and an excellent addition to any collection.
